CYAA Cross Country Championship Meet 2014 Race Schedule

  • 2:45 – 5th and 6th grade Girls (1.8 miles)
  • 3:05 – 5th and 6th grade Boys (1.8 miles)
  • 3:25 – 7th and 8th grade Girls (2.2 miles)
  • 3:50 – 7th and 8th grade Boys (2.2 miles)

Notes to coaches

Name Tags:

  • Runners need to wear their name tags somewhere on their uniforms during the race.
  • After crossing the finish line, runners will enter a chute. They are to give their name tags to the official at the end of the chute. If a runner’s name tag falls off during the race, the official at the end of the chute will ask for the runner’s name and school.

Meet Results:

  • Individual results will be displayed after each race.
  • Individual and Team results will posted on the CYAA Cross Country Website Friday evening.
  • Coaches wanting a copy of the results can get them online at the CYAA Cross Country Website.

Awards:

  • The awards ceremony will begin shortly after all four races have been completed.
  • Individual awards will be presented to the top ten finishers in each race.
  • A first place trophy will be presented to the winning team in each race. Only teams having at least five runners will be eligible to receive a team score.
